Important information

Booking and cancellation policy

To avoid disappointment it's a good idea to book a good 2 weeks in advance to make sure that you get the time that is right for you.  We do need credit or debit card details at the time of booking to reserve your appointment, but don't worry we don't need payment or a deposit, the details are only used in the event of a cancellation (with less than 24 hours notice) or missed appointments as you can pay however you choose on the day.

If you do need to cancel or change your appointment, we would be grateful if you could give us at least 24 hours notice, otherwise we regret that we will automatically charge a 50% cancellation fee.  Just call email or text to let us know if you can't make it.  If we are closed, just leave a message as it will be time-stamped and we'll know when you phoned.

If you have to cancel within 4 hours of your appointment...or just completely forget, we will unfortunately have to charge the full amount of the booked treatment to your card.

Treatment times

To make the most of your treatment, it's a good idea to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for parking or bad traffic.  In most cases we book slightly longer than your actual treatment time, so that you allow an extra 15 minutes at the end of your appointment so you can leave relaxed and refreshed in stead of worrying about how much time is lefton your parking!

If you arrive late as a result of pesky traffic or an unexpected hold up, we will do our best to accomodate you but please understand that we may have to reduce your treatment time, or in case of a short appointment, we may not be able to do your treatment at all which will result in a missed appointment charge.

Looking after our clients can sometimes result in us running a little behind schedule.  We make every effort to run on time but sometimes life throws us a curve ball and we have to deal with some tricky, delicate or emotional situations.  We know that your time is precious so if we are unable to take you into your treatment room within 20 minutes of your scheduled start time, we'll let you have your appointment for free as way of an apology.  (Please note that if you are booked in for several treatments at once your shortest treatment will not be charged should your therapist be running over 20 minutes late.  We measure our timings by the satalite clock in the client lounge).

Courses

Courses are designed for you to gain maximum benefit whilst saving pennies.  As treatments should be taken at regular intervals, courses are valid for 12 months from date of purchase so best to book your treatments up front for the best results.  Unfortunately course items cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Parking

There are several parking areas near the salon, there are some spaces just outside (parking is charged via the meters at £1.40 per hour - max 1 hour directly outside the salon but other roads around us can be up to 2 hours for £2.20.  Be warned, the council like to make life difficult and so the meters don't give you change!), alternatively there is a multi storey car park further down Bedford Street. Try not to park in the Marks and Spencers parking area, it is very heavily patrolled and has a maximum stay of 1 hour...the little man who looks after it likes to earn his money....but he is very nice with it!!

Children

We do a lot of grown up things at Esqué with a lot of grown up people and unfortunately we can't look after little ones at the same time - no matter how well behaved they may be.  We do not allow children under 12 into the salon so you need to leave them in the care of a magical, Mary Poppins type person, with whom they will no doubt have a lot more fun!

Mobile phones and ambience

Esqué is all about relaxation and getting away from it all so please switch off or silence your phone and keep noise levels to a minimum whilst in the salon. This is not only so you will be able to enjoy your time out more, but also to ensure that our other clients are not disturbed.

Loyalty points

We offer a treatcard scheme at the salon.  Simply pop in and ask for a loyalty card which we will scan to activate.  Each time you have a treatment or purchase a product you will accrue points.  This will be for lots of mini treatments or limited edition items as a big thank you for your loyalty to us.…now the best things in life really can be free!

*unfortunately, points are not with the Expert or Senior Therapists.

Make up loyalty card

For those of you who love make-up and love Minerals even more, we have a special loyalty card. Collect stamps with your Mineral make-up purchases and once you have 10 on your card; you’ll receive a £25 voucher to spend on more beautiful Minerals!

Pick up a reward card at reception and you’ll find full information about the scheme on the back. Points are awarded for online purchases as well as items bought in-store, so you can benefit from the convenience of buying online and have the added bonus or earning reward points!

Gifts at Esqué

Whatever the occasion, Esqué gift vouchers are the perfect choice. You can purchase online through our website, over the phone, or pop in to see us – we’re open 6 days a week and open late most weeknights. Our gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be for any value or treatment. They are very flexible and allow the recipient to choose whatever they wish. We also have a gift-wrapping service in store as well as online and our fabulous, friendly reception staff are simply the best at suggesting the perfect present idea should you be stuck!

Gratuities

We hope you have a wonderful experience at Esqué - if you would like to tip your therapist, please do so at your discretion. Please note that all cash tips are retained in full by the staff. The company does not participate in cash tips in any way.

Feedback

We always like to know what you think of our treatments, brochure, website or even what heaven rating you’d give a treatment. If you visit our website, there’s an online questionnaire where you can tell us what you think and we have feedback cards in our client lounge as well. We treat all your comments as ‘top secret’ so you really can tell it to us straight! If you like what we do please tell your therapist (a pat on the back is always nice to receive) and spread the word. If for any reason we’ve not come up to scratch, please tell us at the time of your treatment - if we know you’re unhappy, we’ll do our very best to fix things!
